Romano Fenati start morgen van plek 17. Tijdens de kwalificatie sessie op het circuit van Jerez kon Fenati de 8ste plaats van gisteren tijdens de vrije training niet vasthouden, sterker nog hij zakte naar een 17de plaats. De vrije trainingen waren erg wisselvallig en het team kon niet echt een setup vinden om bij de snelste te horen. Helaas want vorig jaar ging het een stuk beter met Fenny, die zelfs de wedstrijd wist te winnen. Alex Rins was het hele weekend wederom het snelst van het Moto3 gezelschap. Tijdens de 3 vrije trainingen heeft het team niet de juiste setup kunnen vinden en dat maakt het morgen extra zwaar, hopelijk kan Fenati in de warm up nog iets vinden om iets sneller te gaan tijdens de race en zo in het spoor blijven van de KTM’s, die het weer heel goed doen.

“During QP we couldn’t find the setup we needed to start in the first three rows, which was our objective. Tomorrow will be tough, but the team and I will try to improve during WUP and I’m sure we’ll find a direction and we’ll be stronger during the race.”
