Na een ongelukkig weekend in Texas twee weken geleden is het San Carlo Team Italia Team gebrand om te schitteren op het circuit van Jerez. Het circuit waar Romano Fenati vorig jaar zijn eerste overwinning pakte en daarmee meteen zijn stempel drukte als het nieuwe grote talent in de Moto3 klasse. Dit jaar is het moeilijk voor Fenny5 als we de eerste twee wedstrijden gaan analyseren, de KTM’s van onder andere Salom, Rins en Vinales zijn super snel. We gaan wel uit van een goed resultaat op het circuit dat hij goed kent en waar hij misschien wel eens kan vechten om een podium plaats.
Romano Fenati (San Carlo Team Italia FMI FTR Honda#5), who suffered a technical failure in Austin after a strong comeback during the race, will try to replicate his performance from last year, when he scored his maiden victory on the Spanish track.

Romano won his first race in Jerez and we face this race knowing that we still have to work hard, without letting our guard down. We suffered some technical issues in Austin but both Romano and Pecco like this circuit, so we are confident we can get some good results here.”
