Tijdens de vrije trainingen op het circuit van LeMans ging het redelijk met Fenati, hij is eigenlijk het hele weekend te vinden rondom de 10de plaats. In tegenstelling tot de vorige GP’s doet de FTR Honda het prima en kan hij zich mengen tussen de verschillende KTM’s. Tijdens de Moto3 kwalificatie sessie kwam Romano vrij laat het circuit op door een technisch mankement aan zijn machine. In de laatste vijf minuten zat hij achter Salom en Ajo en pakte hij met een tijd van 1’44.611 de 11 plaats, 0.915 langzamer dan poleman Maverick Vinales. Morgen zal Romano zich zeker laten zien en wij hopen dan ook dat hij weer mee kan doen voor een top10 plaats. Go Fenny!

“It was a tough QP. I suffered a trivial electrical problem and couldn’t fight for the top positions. On track I still managed to stay close to KTMs, I have a strong pace and I hope to get a good start and fight at the top. With some small tweaks during WUP we can do it.”
